Newest Member of the Family: Adelaine Antolini Donecker
Happy ONE MONTH Birthday, Adelaine! John, Doe and Big Sister Ainsley are pleased to celebrate Adelaine! Born May 23 at 1:39 pm, she tipped the scales at 8 lbs 1 oz. Pop Pop was disappointed his youngest grandaughter wouldn't share his birthday. Adelaine, adapted from generations of Donecker women named "Adeline," was quite insistent to arrive on her own terms. Despite Mommy's best attempts to bring on labor sooner, Adelaine remained tucked warmly inside until she was ready. That being said, Mommy labored to the point of pushing before an emergency c-section was ordered. (Ugh!) |

She arrived with a head full of RED hair and a pair of Ghiggeri eyes to match her sister and cousins. Big Sister, Ainsley, was excited to meet "Coco" and greeted her with a hug and kiss. Mommy and Daddy are relieved she is most gentle where her sister is concerned. She does, however, tell everyone else just how to care for her Baby in a not-so-gentle tone.

With Grammy's help, Mommy and Daddy have survived the first few weeks of sleepless nights. It's tough to maintain a household and attend to everyone, but we are managing! We really appreciate the thoughts and well wishes of all our family, friends, neighbors, and co-workers. All have welcomed Adelaine with bright smiles and supported Ainsley with warm hugs as she transitions to life with her new baby sister. We look forward to sharing lots of fun stories as our family grows.
